SKMTH Renal services target prevention, diagnosis and management of kidney diseases in Botswana, at world standards. The unit is thirteen (13) bedded and currently has seven (7) treatment points which enable the Hospital to assist fourteen (14) patients per day. It serves both in and out patients. The Unit has the capability of administering Haemodialysis treatment to both paediatrics and adults.
Renal Care services include:
- Hypertension Clinic
- Glomerulonephritis and Pre-dialysis clinic
- Dialysis Services (Hemodialysis and Peritoneal Dialysis)
- Kidney transplantation Clinic when the Hospital is fully functional.
